Adapting brakes to cpp modular drop spindles
 

I bought a 2011 Camaro for the ls3 and tr6060 to go into my 68 short step side. As I am getting ready to tear into the car to strip the drivetrain I've been daydreaming about the brake setup and was curious about a few things. I've seen some mention of corvette brakes Etc, but nothing as far as this goes. The car has 14" rotors front and rear with brembo calipers. The mount on the front caliper looks similar to the cpp modular drop spindles brake caliper mount. Was curious if anyone had a set so I could borrow measurements to look into it.

Not as concerned about the rear mount, figure I can have a bracket burned and come off the axle tube. Plan currently is to re drill the rotors for 5x5.

No idea if the camaro shares anything with the vette but these guys might know.
Google Kore3 C10 and look at their kits.

not on a truck but I adapted a set of those to a 69 impala. swapped in a hydra boost and the brakes are so touchy, you can stop on a dime just using yr big toe!!
make sure you have the same pedal ratio as the Camaro and use a disk/disk
proportioning valve.

not hard to make brackets, 3/16 steel. just center your caliper on the rotor make spacers for caliper mount. I used a drum brake hub and turned down the O.D. to fit inside the rotor. you will most likely need longer studs installed too. I had to use a small spacer for caliper to wheel clearance. obviously custom wheels can be made to clear but im low budget.

rear end bracket was tight due to the rotor offset.

I have another set for my truck but haven't made it that far yet.
