1969 c10 to 2004 Silverado, can I swap parts?
Hey guys, I'm hoping to get some help here. I have a 1969 c-10 2wd. It is as stock as they come. Manual steering and drum brakes with no power booster. Straight 6 with Muncie 465 4 speed manual. I have the opportunity to buy a 2004 chevy Silverado for 700$, it's being parted out from being T-boned. I want to buy this and swap out my drum brakes for disc brakes, power booster, front leather seats, etc..... does anyone know if this is possible with these newer trucks or is it too much work and not worth it. I really want to get rid of these front drum brakes, THEY SUCK!

I'd also like to know what exactly I need to make the swap and if someone could just gi e me a quick rundown of what I'll be doing, should I just buy a kit?

So the brakes are gonna be a no go. The seat is as simple as measuring and drilling new holes. May as well use the engine and transmission unless you're wanting to stick with the straight six. May as well start snowballing your project now lol.
