driveshaft lenght on a v8 ... ?
 
hello all,

would anyone knowing a driveshaft length with using a 700r4 on a v8 on a 66 ( original setup v8 w/ power glide )

Depends on what what length tail shaft is on the trans. Short bed or long? I prefer to take actual measurements so I know it will fit when I get one made.

long bed also could the current transmission mount be modified to accept a 700r4 ( with replacing the rubber mount bushing ) or an aftermarket one is needed ... ?

you may have to move the crossmember back a bit to match up for the mount. here are the dimensions
