Where did you get the tonneau cover from?

Just finished reading through your album, awesome work!!

Interested in how you widened the rear fenders....could you give us a little insight?
I have bought my wheels and now must make the decision on whether to widened the rear fenders or narrow the rearend....

Forgive me for the slow reply, its been a busy spring and summer already!

I cut 1 1/4 off the original fenders at the lip and welded that to the new fenders with a billion spot welds real slow to avoid warping the new steel. Keep in mind when you do this, your outer dimensions will grow slightly and will need to re-do your mounting holes on the bed as they wont line up anymore. It was just enough added to avoid having to tub the already small bed.

Tonneau is Truxedo and I put them on all my trucks! Although they quit making white, I had my local upholstry shop replicate it using boat top material. The white cover now really sets off the two tone cab well.

Made the intake cover using 3" exhaust tubing split down the middle and welded to a flat plate. There is a custom bracket under the "hat" that picks up the factory mount bases and transfers to hidden bolts just under the outside edge of the cover.

Glad you like the tricks!
