Need a NP205 for TH350 k20 Built
 

I have decided to pull my old NP205 case and swap it for the same thing but built sweet.
Im looking for an NP205 thats built to last. I want all top notch bolts(ARP) and gaskets along with bearings. Im after billet output shat covers and the billet PTO and rear front output shat cover, idler cover as well. I want new yokes and shift rails and linkage. direct bolt in replacement , A nice black paint job.
I will be taking this truck to shows meets etc but still use it as weekend driver.

Who do you guys recommend I have put this case together?

What should this case cost me? shipped to Martinez, California?

member JBClassix put together this exceptional 205 rebuild thread, so you know what has to be done - or what you're paying someone to do, and, more importantly, why it isn't cheap. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=469726 Having said that, seal and gasket kits are not expensive. So, bulletproof costs a lot of extra $ for minimal gains over stock. The 205 is a very good, very sturdy case, even with a stock rebuild, and that should be sufficient for just about any abuse outside of full-time way-off-roading.

I am pretty sure that at least one of the above carries billet i/o shaft housings.
Not familiar with who might be competent to build for you in your area - I'd start with driveline shops and 4x4 shops/businesses. Again, I think a stock rebuild will work for most applications, but certainly understand the desire to make something better when rebuilding. I'm getting ready to do a 205 in my K20 as well, but will probably stay pretty stock. I've got so many leaks under my truck it's hard to tell where they are coming from. Pretty sure my adapter seals are shot as well - whole driveline needs to come out anyway. Good luck with you build.
