Walbro Fuel Pump

I got the Walbro gss342 universal in tank pump off amazon and an 87 sender unit from rock auto for my swap. Everything fit but the wires were different.

My questions are has anyone else crossed this bridge?

it is simple as unplugging and swapping out the wires?

I also found the walbro install kit part num 400-791. The connector looks bigger in the online picture.

There is an adaptor piece for your connection. I can't remember if it came with my pump or with the sending unit.

Yes that looks like exactly what i need. Im going to dig around online today and if I can't find anything then Im going to return the walbro and get the ACdelco ep 381 pump.
