1971 & 1972 C/K RPO K31 Manual Throttle & Gas Pedal Setups
 

Just pulled out two manual throttle control setups complete with everything needed to add the K31 option to your truck, if needed will swap out the standard control knob and gas pedal on either setup to the deluxe stainless knob/pedal set (last pic) for $25. more. Hi Eric, here are some pictures of the second requested 72 K31 manual throttle setup, this one was removed from a 72 cheyenne so it already had the deluxe stainless control knob and gas pedal trim. Also per your request, I have swapped the above pictured separate deluxe stainless control knob & pedal over to first committed 72 throttle setup. Last two pictures are showing both of your 72 manual throttle setups with deluxe stainless knobs & gas pedals side by side. Thanks, Mel. :chevy:

We have sold the four 72 K31 setups that we had stashed away in the last week and only have the 71 type manual throttle setups pulled/available at this time. The 71 setup will also bolt into and function correctly on a 72 truck, its just the pedal rod, pedal support bracket and lower control cable mounting provisions that are a little different between the two years. Are the cables interchangeable between 71 and 72? Looks like 72 cables have rubber outer covering not present in 71 so wondering if there’s another difference like length.

EDIT:
Part number is the same for 71-72. Wonder if the rubber sleeve/hose was added on the line at assembly?

On a 1971 chevy pick up were does the other end of the Manuel throttle bracket bolt up to, the bracket that holds the cable.
