Possible future 1950 6400(?) Owner.
So I work at a junkyard part time and during one of my down times I came across a super solid 1950 6400(?) Dually. Knowing my boss hell not only sell it to me cheap but also let me work it and other parts I need for it off. Thinking I'll throw it on an s10 frame and use wide full reversed wheels to take advantage of the factory wide front fenders. Throw on a factory half ton bed with with aftermarket fenders. Run the good old SBC. Leave the body pretty much stock aside from new glass and a new seat. Just basically want a fun parts chaser :)

If my dirt track friend can't hook me up with hand me down dirt track wheels that looks like a good option. I tend to lean towards static drop tho. I guess the best way to describe the idea for the truck is traditional hot rod/custom meets NASCAR.

One area I am fuzzy about is how are people doing the steering on s10 frame swapped 47-54s? I'd really like to retain the stock column if I can
