After emptying the dirt, 5300#. This was years ago, don't recall how full the tanks were but it'll hold 50 gallons.

'67 SWB Fleet. I don't have a weight yet but the #s you just guys posted sure made me happy. The Tahoe from whence 5.3 LS going into my '67 came from scaled at 4990lbs., and I was impressed with the way that ran before I pulled it out. That 1200lb. drop into the C10 otta make her run REAL good!

LS swaps in these trucks are beneficial all the way around. Sitting below the weight of the trucks they're often pulled from is a huge bonus. Propelling a rolling brick through the air at a high rate of speed, that's something that can't be cured!

I'm going from memory here with 2 separate trucks:
1) C10 (1/2ton) Cheyenne Super, LWB, PS/PB/AC/Tilt/hitch/step bumper/dual tanks/dual exhaust/350/automatic/H.duty rad/Leaf spring rear suspension....came in very close to 4100 lbs...maybe a little more and closer to 4200 lbs.
2) C10 (1/2ton) Custom Deluxe, LWB, PS/PB/AC/Tilt/Hitch/sport bumper/350/automatic/H.duty rad/trailing arm rear suspension......I think it was just over 4000 lbs.
...I have these written down somewhere but I know for a fact they were all north of 4000 lbs without a doubt and those weights were without anyone in the truck.

Anyone who can break under 4000 lbs in these with a fully finished (modified?) truck is doing very well....particularly if the options or accessories listed above are on the truck.

Everything/anything can start adding weight to this including additional rear sway bars or suspension parts, radio, carpet, etc, etc.

my two bits.

The only 68 on this list from RideTech is my truck when it had the 350/TH350 combo. They got this info when I had it weighed at Shades Of The Past show a few years ago. At that time, it was 3737 lbs. with almost a 60/40 weight bias.
http://www.ridetech.com/tech/coiltech-2/#tabs-3

However, a month after that, I blew the 350 and did the LS1 swap. They had the scales the next year. It weighed in at 3590 lbs. with a 55/45 weight bias.

Now that I'm almost done with the Total Cost Involved suspension swap, it should be even lower weight when I get it all back together.
