What is a good shock to use on my 71 it's not a race truck or a autocross just a street cruiser.

Yes it has a 4/6 kit on it brand I have no idea it was with the truck when I got it.

Cool. No problem at all.
If you can get me some measurements, at ride height, from the center of the bottom mount to the center of the top mount. I can take these measurements and figure out exactly what shock length you need.

Do you use a mono tube or a twin tube ect?

Mono tube, only mono tube. Its has better fluid control and dissipates heat better than a twin tube. Both of those features lead to a longer life.
Our pieces also have rebound adjustment. This allows you to fine tune the ride quality to your liking.

I have a 72C10 with a 4/5 spring drop, put Western Chassis rear shock relocation kit and CPP shocks. The rear shocks are roughly leaning 15/25 degrees toward the rear. I went from having a way to bouncy ride before relocation to a ride that is to stiff (bad back). Roughly 5" of travel before bottoming out. I know it's hard to do but I need a happy medium, almost prefer the stick laid over toward the front ride because of my back. Any ideas are appreciated.
