Fusebox, fuse connection problem

Hello everyone -- yesterday while fiddling around at the fusebox on my 72 Blazer, we pulled on the female plug for the heater and it pulled the male pin along with it -- it was fused together due to some past electrical surge. Has anyone every repaired such a problem with standard electrical male and female plugs? Any advice would be super, thank you.

Re: Fusebox, fuse connection problem

Once a long ways back I disassembled a fuse block and soldered a wire to the bus inside and ran it out to a fuse holder so I could power up something. I don't remember what it was I powered up but I do remember it working well. Not sure if it will work on your Blazer but it might be worth taking it apart to see.
