Re: HELP new & dumb
It should wire to the VSS signal wire (pin) on your ECM. The device you have is designed to function in place of a factory VSS on the trans.
What year and vehicle is the motor out of? Late GenIII should be to Pin 21 on the ECM connector (VSS High) Pin 20 is the Low Signal if your sensor needs it. To make life easy: http://lt1swap.com/2004vortec_pcm.htm |

The "low signal" would be the other wire if its a 2-wire hookup. |
Re: HELP new & dumb
I figured out the wiring harness, green low signal, and purple high signal. My question is how to hook it up to my auto meter VSS 3 wire red pos+ black neg- white signal? Will it work? Do I need a different setup? if so, what? Thanks again for all of your help.

Re: HELP new & dumb
Red is switched power, black is ground, white goes to the VSS Pin
