VIN problem
I recently acquired a 60s truck from a family member. It sat for 15 plus years and they didn't have the title or couldn't remember what year it is. I found the plate in the door. But can't decifer the vin. It's only 12 digits long and can't find any vin tags on it. This is the first 60s style ive ever worked on. I'm usually over in the 73-87 page so I have little knowledge on these trucks so anything will help. Thanks

You didn't say what year, it makes a difference in where it is. |

Re: VIN problem
The family member should get a duplicate title from the state assuming your state uses titles and the FM had a title.

Re: VIN problem
I had a 66 c10 and now I have a 65 c10 and both of them have the vin# in the top of the left door jamb above your head .
what plate are you looking at the one on the kick panel ? that is not the vin plate . |

The kick panel plate is for the wb/gvwr/paint code. The VIN, as mentioned, is on the driver's cab door jamb/upper window frame, etc. What is your VIN?

Re: VIN problem
64 is on the B Pillar door jamb.
