From classic parts. How does it install!?! Assembly manual makes reference to the bracket mounting off the tail light bracket but that doesn't seem possible.

I drilled two holes on the metal panel below the tailgate. Bolted up and ran hot wire to tailights.

Stock license plate bracket on my 55 2nd. As Diesel says, bolts to the center of the rear bed crosspiece. Here's a couple pics.
