I have a van tilt with the short lever...this is the correct one for a truck? Where would one get the knob?
The correct GM knobs are not available and no one is reproducing them that I know of. The replacements are like the 73 and up knobs.
using old knob
Are our old knobs glued or pressed on shaft? What are the chances to remove and use good older knobs on new lever? I don't like the newer version that was a softer rubber and larger.
the knobs are/were pressed onto splines on the end of the lever... I've pulled a few good ones off at the junkyard... problem is that they become loose once removed and must be glued for a tight fit on the new shifter...

Any one know where to get different types of turn signal levers that have cruise on it too. I want something other then stock or from the 73 up trucks. I think they look ugly.....
