What should my stock C10 front coils measure for height?

I'm attempting to figure out how bad my original springs were on my 72 C10. Does anyone know how tall they were originally?

Thanks, Onebean

Best way to measure the front is under load. Measure from the CENTER OF THE WHEEL UP TO THE LIP OF THE FENDER. This measurement will not change no matter what height tire you have. You could call E.C.E. in california as they sell springs and know this measurement, as i ended up with a spring that sagged that i purchased from them YEARS EARLIER. They had me do this measurement procedure, and sent a free replacement. Remember that dropped spindles/stock spindles will affect this measurement.

I would assume that the rear would use the same measurement procedure.

Makes sense to me. I was wanting to know free spring length to see if my -2" springs were actually -2", and trying to determine what would be equal to the broken springs I was running.
