Brake Lines Options

Hey Guys,

I'm having to re-route my brake lines for my headers. Instead of dealing with the steel lines, has anyone had any experiences with the Braided Stainless or Thermoplastic Lines - Only reason is that I feel like the steel lines are a pain to work with, but if they are the best - I'll make them work.

Thanks for any input.

Re: Brake Lines Options

I did all my brake lines with NiCopp - very easy to work with, and won't rust. I think there are some youtube videos that compare steel and nicopp brake lines.

If you have the correct bender and a good flare tool, working with steel lines is pretty easy. I've been bending my own brake and fuel lines for 30 years.
