Replacing window felts

I have a new set of door window felts. Can't seem to find a YouTube video on how to remove the old ones and install the new ones. I'm pretty sure I understand how they are fastened but sure would like to see what I am in for. Anyone have any words of wisdom before I attempt this?

Yes, thank you. I did find lots of old discussion on that subject. Should have done that first before Posting. New to site, need to learn how to navigate better.

You can read my door assembly instructions, link in my signature line...I explain the tool to use and how to use it. Best performed with helper to grab onto the felts and keep upward pressure while you release the clips

Re: Replacing window felts

I removed the old felts without much problem using a pliers. I install the new inside felts and the length was right on. The outside ones were a 1/8" too long on each end. I cut them off with a tin snips. Just like I had read in other threads on this subject, the rubber started not to seal correctly as it got closer to the vent window. This is the area of the largest gap between the inner and outer door skins. Not as bad as others complained about, will just have to live with it.
