67see10 project

I purchased this 1967 C10 Longbed truck about 2 weeks for a pretty decent price. The truck came with a pair of 69-70 fenders and hood, which I plan on selling. It also came with a pair of 67-68 fenders that have minor rust issues. I plan on getting a set of new fenders or look for some used ones that are in better condition than the pair I have.

I plan bagging the truck and running an ls swap with a 4l60e

This is how I got the truck. The rear wheels would not turn after releasing the E-Brake, so It had to be dragged onto the flatbed.

From what I understand the rear dif hits the bed floor.

If you run the 1-1/2" rubber stops the rearend is flush with the top of the frame notch plate. I do think people notch the wood or steel brace on the steel bed floors.

Got home a few days ago from my National Guard annual training & started working on the truck. I also built a cab dolly. Hopefully next week I'll be able to start cutting down the frame.

I’m not really good with updating this thread but a lot has changed since my last post.

My daughter turned one. I purchased a few trucks: a 69 c10 as a parts truck, a 72 GMC C2500, a 72 Chevy K10 I got for free, & as 72 Chevy Custom Deluxe C10 2wd Suburban.

My intentions was to turn the 72 GMC into a stepside daily driver but I since had a change of heart. I entertained the idea of putting a duramax in the K10 but not sure about that idea anymore. So those projects will be sitting in the backyard until I finish the 67 build

The suburban will be will definitely be a priority since it would be a car for the family. .

As for the 67, I’ve been purchasing parts I plan on using. I cut down the frame and the fleetside bed sides as well. I’ll post a few pics once I get off of vacation.

I'm pretty excited about this 1972 C10 Suburban. It's a 400 v8 model 3dr Suburban :metal:

Not sure if I want the 67 build to stepside or a fleetside. I have an extra complete chassis that I might cut down and just keep around for the future.
