81-87 Door Panel Question

Got a question regarding factory door panels for 81-87 Silverado trim. Does the pleated fabric trim above the arm rest and above the door release handle mounted in a recessed area? I have a set of aftermarket door panels(81-87) and it has a raised area, simulating the pleated design of the fabric and was wonder if factory replacement fabric trim would fit over it. :confused:

Your right the factory fabric is set in a recessed area. No the factory panel will not fit on top of the raised area ......sorry about the bad news.

Cole's got it. The catalogs I have say the same thing re: replacement panels from Coverlay, etc...
