69-70 c10 Fenders
Will the 69-70 fenders work for a 67-68 front end? I searched around and some people say yes, others say no.

Re: 69-70 c10 Fenders
The '67 didn't have marker lights so no cut out in the fender for them.
Otherwise they are the same. 68-72. Same fenders came with side markers. 67-68 had body molding that went over the wheel wells so may be holes there from molding clips. 79-72 no molding around wheel well That's my understanding of it anyway. Think it's right. Mark |
Re: 69-70 c10 Fenders
1969 to 1972 fenders will go onto your 1967/1968 front end but only if you change the radiator core support and hood over to a 1969 to 1972. I'd assume the grill would have to change also.
Now I believe the GMC never changed at all throughout the model run. Inner fenders are the same. I'm pretty sure on this but could be wrong. (99% sure) |

It DEPENDS
GMC used the same front fenders from 67-72 (with 67's having no side markers). The GMC and Chevy fenders are the same in 1967/68 (so you can use 69-72 GMC fenders if you want a 67/68 Chevy grill). 69-72 Chevrolet Fenders are completely different at the nose and will not work for a 67/68 Chevy or 67-72 GMC Pic 1 is 67/68 Chevy and 67-72 GMC (again, only difference is no side markers on 67 fenders). Pic 2 is 69-72 Chevy ONLY. These fenders have a recess that the 69-72 chevy grill fits OVER. These will not properly work with a 67/68 Chevy grill or 67-72 GMC grill. |
