I keep all the vin tags and titles to the trucks I have junked out, mostly lwb but I dont sell them, however I do except donations to my favorite charity " Big Os Kids" lol most folks send me 75.00 for a contibution!

All titles and vin plates are sold for nostalgic purposes only. :D

Same goes for bongs and grenades :flag:

i wouldnt think there would be a prob with a 72 vin plate, after all, it not gonna work on 73-up models and if you have a 67, then you would have to add side marker lights.

this just helps people from having to deal with the paperwork hassle and aggravating fees the state charges for rebuilding a junkyard cab with no title. the state is always seeking a way to screw you out of your money. And this applies to ALL states.....

:D

VIN

Red450ih, Are the first 2 letters CE or CS ? CE for Long WheelBase & CS for Short WheelBase.....Thanks....Zoomy

HOTFUN 10-27-2003 08:23 AM

Zoomy

C stands for 2 wheel drive and the S is a 6 cylinder and an E would be 8 cylinder. There is no designation for short or long wheelbase in the vin but it does go on to break out Blazer, pickup box or cab chasis. THe only way to figure out may be with the GVW ratings but there are a number of combinations by springs.

The first two are CE. This was a V8 truck.
