Steering column expertise needed please

I'm putting a tilt column in my 68 and a friend gave me an intermediate column to use. I'm not familiar with these but it appears that a boot or seal is damaged. http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...pswl7pfp5j.jpg

Is this part usable? Is it repairable? Where could I find a replacement boot? Thanks for any advise.

Just search the site for intermediate shaft boot.
