Re: Finally scored some 15x10 steelies
I am super jealous. it took me quite awhile to find a staggered set of Rally wheels. Best i could find was 2 15x7s and 2 15x8s. really want some 15x10s 15x8s are everywhere around here in 6 lug though

Re: Finally scored some 15x10 steelies
did they actually make 15x10 from the factory? what did they come on?
i know you can get all sorts of aftermarket rims in those sizes, just never seen rally's that wide |

The fronts are 15"x7" rally with 245-60R Cooper Cobra tires. Front and rear, no rubbing at all! Lock to lock turning, no issues. See pics. What is your backspacing for your new rear rally rims as it will affect your tire sizing in relation to your fender wells? |
Re: Finally scored some 15x10 steelies
My BS is 4.5 will that a affect my 6in drop??

Re: Finally scored some 15x10 steelies
It will be really close to the fender lip edge if you run 295 50s unless you roll the lip

Re: Finally scored some 15x10 steelies
I just sold my 15x8s for $250 wheels, tires, bands, and caps. If it looks close roll the fender lip and it will give you a little more room. A bat usually does the trick if you don't have the fancy tool they make.

Re: Finally scored some 15x10 steelies
On various cars I've used bats, pipes, sockets, breaker bars, whatever size I need to fit in there. Go slow and do a little bit at a time. If you have a ton of Bondo in your fenders, now is the time you will find out.

Re: Finally scored some 15x10 steelies
If you run 275 60R series tires you should be fine and you will not need to roll the fender lips. Keep in mind every tire manufacturer is a little different. Cooper Tires may have a little softer sidewall than BF Goodrich or others. I chose Cooper Tires as they were cool to mount the tires into my rims and let me check clearance. If I was not satisfied we tried a another tire size. This was true for my front rallies. I wanted to run the 15x8 but the offset was just a tad to shallow for the 245 60R tires. Therefore I went with my 15x7 rallies and they fit much better Yes I brought both rim sizes to DT to test fit. They are the best IMO.
