My 1985 K20 / Set it free and it came home .
 

Found this 1985 K20 a few weeks ago , been trying to work out something with the owner ... finally they called me up and said come get it $400.00 later and its in my yard ..Need to really clean it up , someone stole the starter and cut the wires .. Gonna try to clean up and start this weekend ... :metal:

WOW nice find. :metal: I take it from the dash photo, the exterior is supposed to be white, lol. You got you work cut out cleaning it. But it will be fun just to see how nice it comes out.

Were the bed contents part of the deal as well?

And was that poison ivy growing on the front?

Good find. Paint looks in good shape, just a bit dirty.

I thought that too about the poison, either oak or ivy. Some people don't get though.

It was a gravel driveway at the rear of the house , after her husband passed away the truck just sat there .. Blackberry bushes and trees took over . The picture is all that was noticeable when I went down the side road between houses ..

That's a great grab for $400. Looks like it's in good company in you your driveway. I'm a sucker for yard-find cleanup pics and first start-up process. Keep us in the loop if you don't mind.

Spent the day working on the truck , replaced the water pump , starter , radiator , T/stat , oil and filter change , belts , and hoses .. Still need to tune it up ... I was able to drive it around the block !! So excited !!! :metal: Now need to start cleaning it up , and empty the trash in back ... More to come .. :ito:
