Fuel selector switch help

I have a 88 r30 and have bought 2 switches for them to only last a few months each and one was a ac delco switch and other was from BWD brand and it lasted 1 day. I have the 4 wires under dash and was wonder if anyone has put a after market 3 way switch in to replace the stock style? Want a switch like this
