Hi I just did this to my 68 a couple weeks ago,i also used a tilt column from a van, you will need a intermediate shaft (I found one in a 72 C-10) from the steering box to your new column shaft end cuz u should have a one piece currently, the intermediate shaft will also need to be collapsed by 2", you will also need to relocate the neutral safety/Back up light switch depending if you have a automatic. Here is a link by a member krue that i use and was very helpful. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=147927

Following. I'm about to get a column out of a motor home, and I know the switch needs to be moved
