1990 K 1500 Silverado Transmission swap
 

I have a 1990 Silverado 4X4 Short bed Sportside with a 5.7 V8 and the Getrag 290 5 speed manual transmission. After 236,00 miles the tranny is ready for retirement. My question is will the newer NV3500 0r Nv4500 be a direct bolt-on replacement for the 290? Drive shaft, hydraulic clutch assembly, bell housing etc...
