WTB - Cage Nuts for Single Wall Top
 

Looking for a set (10) of the cage nuts for a single wall top. These are welded to the underside of the bed rails. If you don't have a full set, I'll take what you have. I've seen these go for about $150 a set, and I am a player in this price point range. Thanks.

I've been wondering if these could be reproduced. They're fairly simple. It would be nice to find some of the inserts in the same shape already tapped. I wonder if some regular cage nuts could be modified to work.

I have a nice set I was keeping for myself I will let go for 150 I can get pictures tomorrow.

But some fabrication would be required to make the cages work. $18 a piece, or $180 before tax for a set.

I could swear I saw something like that at the hardware store...a hell of a lot cheaper.

I have seen a lot of stuff at my local stores that could be made to work with some alteration/fabrication. But nothing was a direct weld-in. I also searched Grainger, McMaster-Carr, and a bunch od other online outfits without any better luck. The best I could find were the ones offered by OPG.

I was searching for some other parts tonight and found some original single wall top bolts with the correct "P" marking will need rechromed 20 for the 10 pcs and I can throw them in the same box if interested.

Also found a set that will work but not original but in better shape should clean up pretty decent. Same deal 20 if interested.

I hate to bite on this thread but I was wondering if anyone has another nice set for a single wall top set for sale that I want to put on my blazer which came with a double wall top

I found another nice set 1971 GMC Jimmy 2wd has first chance will give him a couple days then invicta455. I have plans this weekend will try and get pictures up Monday.
