How many members in the New Orleans area?
 

I only ask becouse it looks like I'll be in Chalmete (did I spell it right?) come X-mas time. Wife is making me go with her to visit the out laws...oops, in-laws.
I know we'll probably end up in the Hamond area for a day, possably a couple days, but for the best part, we'll be in Chalmete staying with grandma. If anyone in the area knows of any decent job leads in the area (at the time of my visit) give me a heads up as I may be in the market for new employment too.

Bummer I'll have to drive the wife's Kroger Cruiser. Anyone know how hard it is to pick up chicks in a POS 4 door Ford Contour? It's kinda depressing when they all point and laugh. :banghead:

I'm in those outerskirts of Mississippi Andy... Bout an hour-1 1/2 from Chalmette ?...I don't know the spelling either. Good luck with the laws....

Let me know when you come down, the wife has family in the Chalmette area too. We are only about 2 hours or so from there.
As far as jobs in the area go, it depends on how clsoe you want to be.
You can always get on offshore oil rigs?:D

Well, offshore rigs would be a last case deal...and only if I done moved there and my emploiment situation took a turn for the worse.
I hope to be able to meet a couple board members when I'm down there, maybe a mini-board meet at grandma's or something.
Cummon guys...I know we have more than 2 ppl close by there.

Like I said, let me know when you get down this way. I don't have a problem driving out of my way to meet someone. As long as my work schedule permits.

GMan69...that would be awsome. I really can not stand her mom and hate sitting in the car for 4 or 5 hrs while she is in there visiting.

Well...I'll be leaving this Thursday around midnight eastern time...well, I guess that'll actually be friday morning.

I am off the 26 and 27, holler at me , I am only about 2 hours away.

I have to work Friday the 26th but will be off Saturday the 27th. Will y'all still be hangin' around or is that a travel day?
