Couldn't pass this one up! Even though it's loaded with rust (yes we have them here in CA too, usually along the coast). Haven't quite got it home yet, it's being stored at a friend's place up north. I saw specialtyretail's "big girl" thread and had to share mine too... :ito:

Nice one Tim... what are the plans for this one?

So sweet. So original. I'm curious how it ended up with painted hubcaps. I think it's cool that although it's a CST, with fawn interior trim it is painted like a base trim truck inside.

Won't be sure til I see it in person. It's complete, original, clear title, and runs/drives good. But lots of rust all through the cab.

I have noticed that very few trucks that have been repainted had the tailgate letters repainted. I suppose someone wanted this to look just like it was originally, hubcaps and all. I assume they just couldn't pull off the red stripe?

What parts of the interior trim would normally be different on a CST?

I lol'ed at the loaded with rust part unless the floor is gone or something. That truck looks very solid

I guess it's all relative...

Relative? Not one of my relatives is that rust-free, much less their trucks . . . .

Were my DD that clean, I'd be delighted.

So did this truck have smog stuff on the 327? If it does please post engine pics when you get it. I need to figure out the hose routing on a 67 327.

I don't think there's much here that will help you...

Great find, interested to see where it goes from here!

Nope but a 67 stock 327 looks nice. I just thought that since you were in California that it might have air injection. Thanks for the pics.

After 72 the smog regs hit. It does have a funky heater tube for cold starts.

Fremont was just plain nuts about Fawn interior paint. They must'a had tankers full of it. I have a '68 C/10 Stepside and, [sadly, a non-runner, now] a '67 K/10 Sub with Fawn everywhere inside. Both ''Z'' trucks.
OBTW, does anyone know where to get a can or 2 of Fawn spray paint? The Paddock sold it, but they're long gone. My sole remaining can is from them. Most likely flat by now. Need it for my reconditioned 3-spoke wheel.
