Steering Box Question ..

I have a K20 4x4 Chevy , the box is sloppy and leaking bad ... Question is .. Is a 2 wheel drive steering box the same or is it different from a 4x4 ?? Any help is appreciated :metal:

The box itself is the same aside from the different sector shafts. The sector shaft is what the pitman arm attaches to. The 2wd is a full spline with 4 thicker slots as a master. The 4wd sector has about 6-7 splines with a slot for the locking bolt
