WTB: 1961 Custom Side Trim
 

Just bought a 1961 Custom Cab shorted big window. Needing a few trim pieces. I need fender spears, and driver side bottom bed piece. If anyone has any of this please let me know. thanks

Here's a picture kind of showing what I need. Haven't looked to hard for a better picture but they're shorter stainless pieces on the fenders

She's almost identical to that longbed truck I just pulled from your wonderful state! Interesting it has had the 60-only paint divider trim added too looks like....

I assume the paint divider trim is the rear window trim? its factory with the pickup with the rest of th trim

Data books support this change very early on. I say added also

There appears to have been several changes to your truck which lead me to believe it was added. Great truck by the way ! But I agree with GMCNUT , that rear window trim was added to the truck at some point. Id be interested in the VIN to see how early or late it is compared to other 1961 Custom cab trucks that did not come with the rear window trim.

I am the third owner of it, fella I bought it from bought it from the original owners brother. Never seen any one add it to any pickup at least not on a pickup a year older than the ones that came out in 60. But the vin is 1C144K113228

Guys are putting that rear window trim on everything 60-66 . Very very common . Im not going to say it didn't come factory but I will bet 99.9% on , it was added. By that VIN , your truck is not that early of a build.
