Recently got my truck out of storage. It's been a while since I've posted on here. I've been more active on instagram, where you can follow me at @kurtkphoto.

The truck spent about 2.5 years sitting with a few startups and brief drives before the final stretch of about 9 months sitting in a garage. It needed a new fuel filter and then fired right up. The truck needs a tune up bad, but seems to be running better the more heat cycles I put into it. The truck was sitting on the east coast, and it's amazing what the air out there will do to a truck even as it sits in an enclosed garage. The engine, while far from perfect, had little to no surface rust when it went into long term storage. It now has lots of specks and orange haze. It's coming off easily, but it's a pain.

Here's a picture of its first cars and coffee event ever and first show since 2014. In this pic from last week, it had about 50,137 miles on the odometer:

Always loved your truck, I appreciate the fact that it is stock. A custom truck is nice, but when I see a original one I tend to look at it more than a modified one. Do you have any engine bay pictures?

Thanks!

Here's one...

KEEP YOUR GM VEHICLE ALL GM!

That brake master cylinder had no rust on it when it was locked up! Brushes off easy though... also, yes, the random connector from the AC is just resting atop the compressor.

Very nice.

We had a '75 just like that (except with rally wheels).

Thanks! Are there any big truck shows in the area? I seem to be the only C10 in my area that isn't a work truck...

Thanks! I'm second owner. Truck was built in Lakewood, GA plant and sold to the first owners in Cornelia, GA. Not sure how true the story is as it was relayed via a consignment salesman, but supposedly the truck's first owner passed away and his parents held it until selling it in 2007. I'm the second owner and have taken it from 18k miles to just over 50k.

Thanks! Sometimes I think about pulling the fiberglass bed lid and putting a side mount spare like your awesome truck.
