need right and left front backing plates 1987 V3500 1 ton truck 350 A/T can anyone tell me where I can find a pair ?

Probably junk yard only, and they will be hard to get for a 1 ton since people grab those axles pretty quick. Around here they want you to buy the whole axle...

Are you talking about the thin sheet metal dust shield that protects the rotor or the actual caliper bracket?

I have the thin metal ones for sale.
