85 manual trans-reverse wiring ? questions ?
 

im putting another body on my k-30 4 speed truck-there is a wire -with a connector that comes from fuse box ? across the floor & goes down the shifter hole- to ? trans ? or where ? im thinking its the reverse b/u switch ?? my helper dont remember where it went ? but there was a "impression" in the sound deadner mat ?? also it looks like it has a clip that bolts to the top cover on trans ? maybe 2nd hole back on pass side ??

the new cab had this wire & impression in deadner mat ! cant seem to find the wire in the old 82 cab ! the floors were all patched & trashed out ! the 82 was the manual trans & 85 cab was a big hump with this wire & 400 turbo trans-4 wd- any help thanks -cant seem to find any info in gm book ??
