I keep missing out on these....
I would happily pay $500 for 71 style and $700 for extremes....

I saw some there too but think the price exceeds the worth...not trying to set a new record high price paid on tow hooks.

Do you have a picture of the tow hooks? I just bought a trailer load of 67-72 truck parts which did include a set of tow hooks. Doubtful that they are what you are looking for but worth a shot?

Agreed on only living once...and on parts like this if you keep it long enough, even if you paid a new record high price you could recover the cost...unlike 99% of the things I spend my money on...

I did get your PM, I’m contemplating the offer, my 4wd parts advisor told me to hold out for hooks at that price with full set of original bolts....

Original bolts are important and valuable to me.

Anybody have some tow hook bolts for sale?

I posted a thread a few weeks back about how the prices of these hooks are becoming Off the Hook! It's become a little crazy lately...
Every set of 69-71 hooks that I have seen since (5 sets?) have all sold in the mid to high $700s. I think only one of them had original hardware.
Randy - Is your truck being put back together according to the rules of a "concours" restoration? Because that's the only reason I could see not making the deal with Bow-Tie for those Hooks. They look pristine!

I agree on the prices getting crazy in the past year or so...I think they are a good investment though and don't mind paying up for some because I wont loose money on them or very little at least.
I'm hoping some extremes come up for sale, go big or go home right?
Bow tie's hooks do look nice but most I see are in nice condition.
My truck will be show quality when first finished, but it will be stored outside and driven a lot.

There is a set of 69-72 hooks on craigslist TRI- CITIES TN. He is calling them 1967 to 1969 tow hooks. just put in 1967 chevy and they will come up for you. some pitting asking $650
