Re: clutch rod lever bushing?
This should work .
https://www.classicparts.com/1960-72...info/90%2D769/ You can check Ace hardware to see if they have a bronze bushing you could make work by drilling your mount larger and using a bushing that fits the rod .:chevy: |

Re: clutch rod lever bushing?
GMC1500 4x4, I have had a machinist build up a bushing-reinforced clutch lever. I don't remember if I used it on either truck, or if its still kicking around. But it was a thing of beauty.
Grumpy, those plastic spirals go inside the lateral pivot bar inside the cab. Both the brake and clutch pedals swing on it. Re-installing them cures that ''swingset squeek'' you get on a 40+ y.o. truck. I can't figure out how to get at it however. |

all fixed, drilled the lever out to 1/2'' and the bushings i got from https://www.mcmaster.com/ did the trick. reference : #2938T6 High-Load Oil-Embedded Flanged Sleeve Bearing for 3/8" Shaft Diameter, SAE 863 Bronze, 1/2" OD, 1/4" Length
