LS Fuel Tank Question
I have been reading about the use of a 1989 Blazer fuel tank with in tank fuel pump for EFI utilizing the AC Delco EP381 or Walbro 255 pump. My question is, are these regulated through the Pump & Sender Assembly or do I still need the Corvette regulator/return combo?
Thanks |

Im running the 89 blazer tank with in tank pump. . Im running a GM pump but it is basically the same as those u listed. . as far as the regulator goes, it depends on your set up. . If your motor has a fuel rail set up for a return line than it has a regulator already built into the rail. . . If its a return less one than thats where the corvette fuel filter/regulator comes in. This is the best of my knowledge anyway. |
Re: LS Fuel Tank Question
Thanks, I guess I need the Vette regulator/return. I have an 04 GTO LS1 and it is returnless and has a pressure damper on the rail.

And check us out in the vendor area if you want the AN line to go with it. Here is a photo of my saddle tank sending unit setup with the EP381 pump, works great and is a straight plugin. |
Re: LS Fuel Tank Question
If you are handy with a oxy/ace you can silver solder steel AN fittings on to the tank unit.
Look up Hydraulic Hoses in your area they have Good braided Teflon hoses with AN -6 fittings, don't mention if is for fuel! |
