c40 drivetrain?

This is for you 1 toners.. I'm thinking of purchasing a C40 but haven't gone to see it yet. What type if drivetrain would it have? Tranny options and rear diff.?
I was thinking of chopping the rear shorter to make it look like a short bed truck and throwing a tremec 5 speed in it to make it my hauling vehicle..

292 six or 350 v-8 with a 465 trans
(I worked on some with 366 BB but I think they were C50 or 60, not sure of years)
rear end would be HO72? (not sure- big, possibly with 2 speed)
