Need help finding a swb frame

3 Attachment(s)
It has been a while since I have been on this forum but highschool is keeping me pretty busy. The 65 build of mine hasn't gone anywhere since my last thread. We are still looking for a frame and need your help! The 63 suburban frame under it now is rusted to the point of no return. I am looking for a late 70's to Mid 80's short wheel base frame. If you find any feel free to message me on here! :chevy:

Idk, it says it has been lowered and all that. If this is where your wanting to go anyway, look into the price of lowering and see if it’s cost effective.

For instance: springs, shocks front and rear are about $350-400 or so. That would make the frame about $600. That’s not a bad price for a rolling frame that isn’t bent. Also if it has disc brakes ($200-400), see wheee I’m going?

Yes

But did you get a good look at it? It's different.

It’s been back-halved with some sort of ghetto setup. I’d run. Especially at $1500.

I'd buy a complete truck. Part out what you don't need, enjoy your free frame.

Is a $400 roller cheap enough?

Great job on posting CL links.

Just want to make sure no one turns this into a WTB or WTS post.

Thanks all.

I bought a "short bed frame" myself but im having a hard time being convniced it is. Everyone says the overall frame length is about 180 in. but no one has mentioned if that a long or short bed frame?

Does anyone know the overall length?

Too Far? A couple weeks ago I went to north of Jackson Tn & brought back a '68 short wide Chevy pickup. Took the wife, ate out & made a day of it!
