How do i read the tag on my np205
 

I need to know how to read the serial number off my np205 transfer case so i can know how many splines it has because im wanting to do an ls 5.3 swap and i need it to mate up to a 4l60e trans please help

The gm Np205 only came 10 27 and 32 splines.

10 splines Sm465 manual trans.
27 splines auto Th350.

The 27 spline from behind a th350 is the correct spline count for the 4l60e, but the 4l60e out put shaft is too long. So you either need a spacer to accommodate the extra shaft length or you need to replace the out-put shaft with a shorter shaft from Advanced Adapters. You will also need the adapter from a NP205 / th350 set-up.

anyone have any idea how i would hook up a shifter linkage with a column shifter to the 4l60e?
