NP205, TH400 figure 8 transfer case adapter and 32 spline input gear, $475 shipped
 

This transfer case adapter and NP205 input gear allows you to use a short shaft 2wd TH400 to mate up to your NP205 transfer case.
The 32 spline female input gear has a larger bearing than the TH350 or 4 spd NP205 case so you would have to have your NP205 case input bearing hole bored to the larger 32 spline TH400 size bearing diameter.

Randy way back when I was going to put a 500 Caddy and 400 in my panel I had TCI build me a BPOP 400 with a short shaft. Is this something I could use to put this same set up in a 4x4? Engine and trans have been sitting in my shop for years.

Yes I do believe the BOP TH400 could be bolted up to the NP205 with these parts. The NP205 needs to have a large front bearing bore diameter, the stock NP205 from a TH350 is small bore front input bearing and the NP205 case would have to be bored to accept the larger input bearing.

What do you want for the set up if I come pick it up? I need to ask one more person a question though before I commit. I'm heading off to work now so if someone gives the Ill take it that's cool.

Hey Randy I'm just not sure if I want to pull the trigger on this yet. Its something I had been kicking around awhile back and when I saw your post here it got me on it again. Its a pretty big bite out of my truck money, and if I end up not using it I'm gonna kick my self in the rear.

Im going to go through some of my stash and see if there is anything Ill let go to make this easier on my truck wallet. If you sell it before then it wasn't meant to be.

I still haven’t scraped up enough dough for this. Not sure if I would ever use it ... would you consider 350 picked up?
