What Color Is This Paint?
 

I'm trying to decide which color combo I'm going to paint my truck this spring. So far it's between Hawaiian Blue and Frost White, and a shade of Green and Frost White. I found this picture on instagram and I really like this color of green. Does anyone know if it is a factory color and if so which one it is? Thanks

I don't recall that as a factory green for the year, but leave room for correction.

Thanks. Yeah I was starting to think it wasn't a factory color when I couldn't find another truck with the same shade of green. Thanks for the link

This is 1976 Glenwood green. Might be a tad lighter.

years ago ( talking late eighties) my buddy had a truck similar in color and it was a maaco paint job one of their old stock colors.. im sure if you go to a good body supply place, they could match the color for you

Thanks for the replies guys. After seeing a green Chevelle in a magazine that looked really close, I did some searching. I found quite a few examples, and I think the paint is 1970 48 Forest Green. Of course it's kind of hard to tell from pictures on the internet. I will take the picture of the truck to a paint shop and see what they think it is.

I'd like to use factory colors on the truck, but if it turns out to be 48 Forest Green and I go with that, at least it's still a GM color haha.

Here is our 69 Camaro. It's also Forest Green. This photo was taken back in about 2003 but the color is represented pretty true to life.

Thanks for the pics of the cars. Both are very nice! I think I'm going to go to some car shows and see if I can see the Forest Green in person. Or at least get some ideas on some shades of green.
