NOS AC/Heater controls for 87 R10?
 

Looking for a new temperature control unit for my 87 Silverado. Are these still possible to find? Or maybe there is someone who restores them? I'm unsure as to whether the temperature controls in the R10, are the same as the 81-86. Also I'd like to get one that has the dual light bulb, as opposed to the single. Maybe the early 90's burbs would be an option? Any info would be appreciated!

Anyone here happen to know, if perhaps glass could be cut at the glass shop to replace the plastic face?

Have to come up with some way to attach it, but that might not be difficult.

I found a really nice one for my truck at a salvage yard a couple weekends back. Even scored and intact vacuum harness and a couple nice vents. It's always worth a trip to walk around and look.

One of these days I'm gonna try to come up with a better setup. Like something that uses the 3 knobs instead of those levers. Should be an interesting challenge.
