body swap questions

ive got my daily driver 75 blazer, with rust. ive got a 75 jimmy with a very decent body. should swap, or should i cut the rust around the rear wheel wells and put in a fender flare? also, the jimmy has no body trim which i like, the blazer has big ugly trim. what to do? how hard would it be to swap them, how long would it take? is the electrical gonna be a downer? please input

I'd swap the bodys. It isn't as hard as it sounds. I swaped the cab on my truck in less than a day. The electrical should just plug in and go. Make sure you get a couple of friends to help you. I only had one person helping me (he was only there to help lift the cab).

how much do think the blazer body wieghs without the top?
i think i have alot of wiring going threw the firewall

Wiring isnt that hard......The fuse block has a nut on the firewall side that lets ya disconnect the wires from the fuse block to the front. Theres a plug there also on the inside of the firewall for the wires going to the back.

If the other body is better I would switch them, better than patching in metal and using filler, should last longer. My.02

I have no clue, but it can't be too heavy. I think 4 people could lift it and place it on the chasis. I'd say maybe 600-750lbs.
