Hello everyone I'm building a 50 five window and I have a few questions if anyone could help I would greatly appreciate the info. I have the front clip pulled and motor set in place but the manifolds aren't letting me clear the steering any suggestions on a set of manifolds that will work any info anyone also need fuel tank and pump advice

Keeping a straight 6 or putting in a small block? With a v8 you'll need to get a caprice or camaro, manifold... lots of options here. You can also offset the engine to the passenger side a bit too.

You can also space the steering box out a bit. An inch I think. Others will pipe in.

ok...we'll try to keep all this info in one spot .....
I saw in your other post your using heidts m2...so I'm assuming you have a r&p..your gonna have to route your steering around manifolds and frame..this is very common on these swaps..this is accomplished with the use of multiple u-joints and d-shaft with heim joint supports...be sure to use quality stuff...there's a lot of pics in the build thread section on this....

fuel tanks can be a lot of choices...from camaro to blazer to mustang to aftermarket....your choice..are you gonna use a intank pump or external?... a very good choice and quality unit is boyds...all aluminum with in tank pump...

wiring for ls engine or wiring for the truck? ....I used a psi harness on my ls swap...very pleased with it....there are other brands though....

Thanks for all replies I recently found a guy to rework a harness that he already had very smooth installation and he done really good job on everything that he done for me really smooth transaction even FaceTime during the install to walk me through the install
