Norwood Plant; circa 1941
 

Later in the 60's and 70's Norwood became famous for their Gen1 and Gen2 Camaro building. Larry:chevy:

In this April, 1945 photo from the Norwood Assembly Plant files, we can see that GM is beginning to add some civilian Chevrolet pickup trucks to the production line. Notice that the truck appears to be a 1941 truck with painted trim.

I lived and worked in the Cincinnati metro area from 1995-2012. I know where LeBlonde was near the Smith Edwards exit off I-71. The LeBlonde Smoke Stack was still there in Rookwood Commons.
Where was the GM plant?
Supposedly there's still some evidence of a rail loading point behind the Harley Davidson Dealership on the Northwest side of Norwood near Reading Rd (US 42) & Tennesee Ave.
