air conditioning and fuel tanks

I have read thru some great threads and have gained a ton of knowledge, sometimes too much, on swapping to a 4.8 lq4 engine. I'm sorry if i have overlooked a thread on this. My 69 c10 is an ac cab truck and the 4.8 i am installing has a brand new ac compressor that i would like to reuse. I'm not in a position to put a retro system in and am wondering if anybody has used the ac pump from a ls to work with the 69 ac box. The ac worked great before i removed the 350 and i have capped all the lines and fittings so no moisture would enter.
Also I want to move the gas tank under the bed between frame but have the fuel fill come out behind license plate like on my 70 chevelle, and install a flip down plate. Any body make some suggestions with sender and intake fuel pump?
Thank you in advance.

4.8 = LR4
5.3 = LM4
6.0 = LQ4

I think lol

People have done what you are wanting and will chime in. It’s tedious work, custom made fittings/hoses etc.

You can use the newer pump with the older factory AC components.

Sorry gmc. Stupid auto correct. Thanks. I have a guy who makes lines for a living so that's no biggie. Seeing as old compressor only had 1 wire newer one had 6 I think

The PCM can control the newer AC, on/off, dile high, high speed clutch etc. Or you can wire it standalone.
