Mirrors look great. Were the elbows drilled and tapped? I don't see the typical acorn nuts affixing male threaded ends.

OK, guys. These are not NOS GM. That's why they are only $200. The correct original legs are what makes them DG4's. The heads and elbows are new stainless replacements. They are the right size & shape/pattern and they don't rust. All the hardware is stainless, not rusty steel like originals. No, I didn't use "acorn" nuts. They are beautiful, but they don't have the original GM symbols, stampings and markings.
Check the pictures. If this is not what you want, please don't call for them. |

Frank, I sent you a question about the mounting point on the back of the mirror head since it's hard to tell by the picture orientation whether it's centered like the originals or offset - no issue with how they were listed, you stated they were new in your original post, so I knew they weren't original GM, was just trying to figure out if the looked like the originals. As stated, regardless of the answer, I will take them, payment has already been sent, thanks.

And anyone who wants to can replace bolts with studs and use same type acorn nuts if that detail matters. Then there is the easy way and pop acorn caps from a truck stop on the bolt heads. Hard to find these so clean for that special truck
